Introducing Brand New Terminal
Royal Caribbean is today celebrating the opening of its brand-new cruise terminal, which is situated in Galveston, Texas. This is a memorable moment for Galveston because the opening of the terminal marks the first time it has welcomed an Oasis-class ship to its port! And Allure of the Seas is the first ship to sail from this newest terminal.
Capacity
The terminal is smaller than the one in Miami, but interiorly it has LED lights, views of the harbor, and so many other things. The 161,334-square-foot Galveston Cruise Terminal will be able to take in up to 630,000 guests per year.
First cruise from Galveston
After the opening of this terminal, Allure of the Seas will start her first journey on November 13 for 7-night cruises to the Western Caribbean until 2023. Before starting the public cruise of Allure of the Seas, Royal Caribbean hosted a special cruise today only for the invited guests.
